The Alexandria guys think just like SYC.
When it comes to superior youth development and getting away from a big, fast, kick, chase model over at other nearby big clubs, well sir, you have a point. Somebody sure doesn’t like noisy neighbors.
But yet no results (unless you count fattening of the directors wallet)...
Huh? On the boys side, both have won a number of state cups in the past year and Alexandria won USYS northeast regional for 07s. I know somebody else’s money is a big deal for you but you may spend a little more time on actually learning facts instead of obsessing over how much money other people make. But let our facts get in the way of your envy.
Nope, shut up and stop obsessing over little boys. They just kicked a size 5 for the first year, get real.
If 1 or 2 State Cup wins and a single Regional league win across an entire club and many years convinces you of “superior youth development” than it makes sense that your getting fleeced.
Right. We're talking lately. Not five or ten years ago. Why do I care what happened ten years ago? If you want to choose clubs the way idiots pick colleges, go ahead and keep picking what the herd likes to pick. There are plenty of sheep in the area who obviously do the same thing.

After U15, the U16 and U17 age groups are combined, so there are no stand alone U16 teams. The top U16 players may roster up to the U17 squad, but most will not.
Most DA programs will try to keep their U16 teams together and play in other leagues for a year. Teams in this area will probably join EDP.
Doesn't it hurt boys to be playing in a non-DA league during recruiting years? Why would the DA have no age group during the most important years? Makes no sense

That changed this year, they split these age groups. Only U18/U19 are combined so that Seniors who are 18 do not get trapped without a team.
