think highly now? Even Barcelona has a hard time against low level teams every dog has his day but like you said they eventually won that all that matters

We were just happy with our performance.... the only goals they scored were against a backup gk who we were trying out for the first time ever.

Boys ECNL? It's not quite girls ECNL. Makes a big difference. You should do your ego checks against boys DA teams if you want to humble brag about a Spartacus story.

I heard the "Guest Player" a lot, but never figured out how does that happen between different "travel" level clubs.
I have seen guest players from low tier or age group of same club, but from other club?

It could be tough pill for the parents of the team what to see their kids playing.
Or the parents cares about the score, so they are happy.

You might want to create a totally new thread on this topic as there may be alot of different thoughts on the pros and cons of allowing guest players.

We are with Villa (not this team) and I’ve never heard of guests outside of the club but definitely have had younger players guest up. Not saying it doesn’t happen but not with the older teams I’m familiar with as far as I know.

Villa had DA players in the VSA game too! Doesn’t the roster get checked? Or is that allowed?

So it only takes a couple DA players to beat an entire ECNL team. Or it proves that particular ECNL team is simply an overpriced NCSL team.

Of course a few impact players makes a difference. Either adding to a team or taking away from a great team.

DA>ECNL And Villa is better than BRYC

Well if Villa didnt have DA players then you could make that statement. Not sure how you make that claim.by the way i have no dog in your bryc fight. I’m VSA who played Villa with their extra players.

Villa did even better based off of your comment then . 2 Da players vs a full team of 17-20 ECNL players. BRYC 07s are ECNL on paper only. Their talent level is a mid tier NCSL level. $$$ grab going on there for sure.

Why do you have to be a dickhead? What team does you kid plan on so we can trash it. Share your expenses so we can see what the brilliant people of the world spend their money on. One thing I know is that you spend way too much time being a d-bag. Serious question for you....what did you get out of posting this? Feel good about yourself?

Maybe he is, but the sooner we collectively run away from Boys ECNL, the better.

Your saying the advantage went to Villa for having 2 DA guest players ? Umm isn't the entire BRYC comprised of ECNL players ? Oh yeah and they're a team that plays together for every event. Villa had 2 guest players who just showed up for the game. The fact is Villa beat BRYC by multiple goals.

It's allowed. Players are allowed to be rostered on one US Soccer affiliated team and one US Club Soccer team. So it's absolutely fine to be "double rostered". Villareal is NPL, which is US Club soccer, so they can have kids on their roster from non-NPL teams. As to the DA part of it. They are young. The strict restrictions in not playing elsewhere really doesn't come into play until older ages. They are 12 year old. It's alright to let them have other opportunities.
