Virginia doesn’t require that you get a Real ID.
PP who used the R-word, you just undermined your argument with your language.

Allow people to comme here illegally with no punishments.
Allow them to drive on our roads with no punishments.
Allow them to send their kids to our schools.
Allow them to reside here for years with no consequences.
What is the point of have a country with borders and autonomy anymore? Try going up to Canada and squatting in their land while demanding all the benefits of their society. See how long you last up there.

Anonymous wrote:The immigrant issue really transcends the classic boundaries of the social and economic. Many people will say, "I'm socially leftwing but economically rightwing," but these folks are a major, major drain on our economy. My kids' school has a few hispanics in each class. Their parents never show up to events, I've personally observed hired translators standing in the hallway waiting for no-show parents for HOURS for a parent-teacher conference, they need separate ESOL classes, they're on subsidized lunch and probably head start too, and then the kids misbehave and disrupt classes. It's a social and economic cancer

High time we started using drivers licenses and drivers licenses rather than as identification cards.

Which do you prefer, drivers who are licensed or drivers who are unlicensed? I prefer drivers who are licensed.
They prefer to live in Willy Wonka's CandyLand where they can pretend that the only undocumented immigrants are Oompa Loompas.
Meanwhile, the rest of us in reality-based world want undocumented immigrants to have a license, insurance, and registration so they can be found if they hit my car. And also so they pay their taxes.
You really think that illegals are going to get car insurance?
