Three pages of comments, and no one mentions this?
My boys never pee’d sitting down. What do you mean, he “still” sits to potty? Stand him up!

I have a 5 year old boy and would never send him Into the men’s room alone. I think he could manage but there are just too many creeps and weirdos out there.
I care because those of you have that no control whatsoever over your kids anymore will zone out while letting that 5 year old crawl around on the floor and peek up until the stall I'm in. While you continue to zone out/stare into the air. It gets old.

I have tween girls and they would be extremely uncomfortable with 10, 11 and 12 year old boys in the ladies’ room. That’s too old.
Where are all of you taking your sons into women’s restrooms? I have never seen a boy older than 4 or 5 come into the bathroom with his mom, and it’s pretty rare for me to see even that.

My boys used the ladies room with me until they were at least seven or eight - and then refused. I never got a questioning glance.
Then again, as a woman, I have never once given a thought to who was in the bathroom stall next to mine. And I am perfectly comfortable with anyone on earth watching me wash my hands.
