Cashmere is the ultimate winter luxury. If I were rich, I’d drape myself in it all winter. I have about 7 cashmere sweaters and maybe 8 wool sweaters. I love the simplicity of a cashmere crewneck and it’s pretty much my winter uniform.
Get rid of the ones with holes and turn up your heating. You sound so cheap.
Wow. And you sound like a lovely person. /s

I am getting rid of most of the wool sweaters. They are lovely but no one really wears wool sweaters anymore and they're just scratchy and heavy. I will be sad as I've had most of them since college and that was 20 years ago!
No one wears wool sweaters?? Not true at all. Most high quality sweaters are wool.
They're just not worn as often. All these crew neck wool sweaters have been replaced with other materials. Polar fleeces have taken over.
There are still gorgeous high quality wool sweaters but they seem to be becoming less and less common. I see people lounging around in their Patagonias whereas 20 years ago it would have been wool sweaters
But if you work in a cold office where fleece is too casual, what on earth do you wear? I keep reading here that blazers and pant suits are out?

PP, how do you wear the short sleeve ones? I could never wrap my head
around the concept of short sleeve sweater. If it is cold enough for sweater
then it is too cold for short sleeve.
It is kind of like having a swimsuit made of fur.
Agree. It looks ridiculous too.
I have a couple. I wear a long sleeve shirt underneath. Love them.
