My fourth grade DD wears a size 8 women. Feet grow at different times. She is probably just going through puberty earlier - in which case she will stop sooner too.

My 7 year old wears size 1 and K wears size toddler 11. I wear women's size 7. I guess we have smaller than average feet, and your kids' feet are larger than average. But does it matter?

11yo size 3 kids
14yo size 5 kids or 7 women’s

FYI, kids sizes translate directly into mens sizes, so mens 5 is also a youth size 5, and a women’s 7. I know because I also wear a women’s 7 and my 14yo and I sometimes share shoes.

A 6 in womens is a kids 4. That's what my kid wears and she's almost 10. Most of her friends are in that ballpark.

My daughter is 8. She wears a women's 8.5 shoe size and women's small in clothes. It's insane to me.

My 12 yr old DD wears a women’s 9. My 15 yr old DS wears a men’s 10. Both outgrew kids sizes around the age of eight and 10 respectively.

I was 4’8” in kinder, 5’3” in 5th. Don’t know k shoe size, but 5th was 6.5. I sat down on the bench behind my mom, and we ended up trying on the same shoe and switching. I only grew to 5’4” and size 8.5w, so it’s believable to me, especially since some brands run small.

really? Are you sure? That's super tall. In five years you only grew 7 inches?

Still big for an 8yo.

12yo dd wears a kids 4
8yo dd wears a kids 13/1

I’m 5’6” and wear a women’s 7.

Kids' shoe store employee for 10 years here-- an 8-year-old in size 13 is very, very small. Both of your kids have smallish feet for their age. The range of normal is vast.

Did she lose teeth early? Maybe she is just on track to reach puberty earlier and stop growing earlier

My almost 10 yr old wears a kids 6 or women's 8. She is tall for her age, about 80 percentile. I wear a 9-9.5.

I was pretty much my adult weight, height, shoe size by age 12...I'm guessing she will be too.

My 3rd grader wears a size 6 in women’s and her best friend wears a 6.5. My 3rd grade niece wears a size 3 in girls. They are all around the same height. Feet, clothes and height will vary greatly at this age.

My older child seemed to have huge feet in early elementary school and now in middle school he wears the smallest size out of all of his friends. My children’s feet seem to grow before their height. I’ve never worried about this and bought whatever sizes fit. They looked silly when they they were little kids with huge shoes.

I'd say it is on the larger side, but that's fine

My son has feet on the smaller side even though he is taller than all his friends -- some of whom I know wear larger sizes. He wears a 1 - 1.5 and is 9yo. I'm 5'7" and wear a 10-10.5 and my husband is 5'11" and wears a 9.5-10. So ... dunno. I think feet are just feet, not really a big deal?
