Diana was, her father the Earl is. Her claim to fame is a famous cousin.
The Earl had his wife and kids shipped to a far away troubled African country. She was not raised in Brittish high society.

As for her father, the Earl. According to Brittish law the oldest son is heir apparent and other siblings, including wife, ex-wives, get nothing

Honestly I think so many of them grow up house poor - those estates take millions to manage each year now that it’s no longer the 1500s and you can’t pay servants with just a cot and warm meal.

All their money goes to the game wardens, landscapers, household staff, and keeping up ‘appearances’. Not to mention it’s money handed down over generations so there’s no replenishing it.

The girl who grew up in the Hogwarts castle talked about climbing over 100 steps every night to get up her bed! After she married a wealthy American her homes had elevators.

I also think Diana was the most beautiful, but Meghan comes in at a close second. Kate is flat out ugly.
