I've seen a GW NP multiple times during my uncomplicated pregnancy and was always very happy. If I had had an issue, I would have asked for a second opinion of an OB. Pregnancy is for the most part so routine for the providers we all tend to see, I doubt there is much observable difference in treatment (although it would be interesting to see a study on outcomes).
