A bit of an exaggeration in the article's title. If you read a bit the article says "Threatened" and not "Endangered." It is difficult to take the article seriously since it can't manage to decide which stance it wants to take. Truth or sensationalism?

Wikipedia says the argali as "Near Threatened." So even the threatened category is wrong.

I've read several in-depth analyses of what drives Trump supporters, and each of them has concluded exactly this.

Trump supporters actually don't care at all about the economy, jobs, immigration, health care -- anything policy related. In fact, if they express any opinion on those issues, it's often more in line with the Democrats.

What they REALLY care about is pissing of liberals. They love Trump's lying, his mean tweets, all his deviations from the social and political norm simply because it makes liberals enraged.

This is why Trump could truly shoot someone on 5th Avenue and lose no support. Shooting someone would enrage liberals, which means Trump supporters would be 100% in favor of it.

It's not something I understand, and not something I know how to address. But it's real.
