Sounds like your SIL didn't have a choice. Are you saying that
after the sinus surgery she got the migraines and are suggesting be cautious about getting surgery?
Yes, she had no choice. Complications after surgery were very severe, and nobody could figure out what was causing her these insane migraines. Now, two years later she has high blood pressure, and it all kind of started with her sinus surgery. But, she had to have it done. So, I guess I am recommending that people hold off on surgery until absolutely necessary. I think what happened is that during surgery her nerve paths got damaged, and caused migraines, but nobody was certain. My mom, on the other hand, is a true hypochondriac, but she also has many health issues and is convincing her doctors to have surgeries every two years. Nobody knows anymore when mom truly is in pain, and when she is just "a pain."
