No, longer. About 20-21 years ago actually. Don't remember when exactly, but it was the summer or two before 9/11. In a GMC Typhoon SUV. I remember blasting past a guy walking a dog, and the dog jumping like 5 feet in the air from being scared, hahahaha. I've mellowed a lot since then, but my hubby still says I drive too fast!

145 on the Audubon. It was a rental car, but we were getting smoked by other cars flying by us.

None. I don’t think cameras were a thing there at the time. Also did not hit a camel. That can be really bad.

I lived in Dubai. Friend worked in AD. When she went to register her car at the beginning of the year, she found she had$20,000 in speeding tickets !!!

200 km/ h used to be quite common in Europe.

That's something like 130 miles/ h, I guess.

Not a big deal with good roads and good drivers.

Yes. Still don’t feel safe over 75. Clearly I don’t have a high tolerance for risk!

Germany: 155 on the autobahn in an E-Class
US: 137 in my RR Sport and 124 in my wife's RX350 (both wouldn't go any faster and didn't take particularly long to get there)

My flux capacitor doesn't let me drive above 88mph

Police officer ticketed me for doing 127 mph on I-74 between Peoria and Galesburg, Illinois. Clear day, no traffic. I put my foot down.
