DS is 7 and can tie his shoes. But they come undone all the time. I was 10ish when I learned but I had some motor skill issues and was in special ed gym. Today it would probably be called OT.

I started on the varsity softball team as a Freshman, we made it several rounds into the playoffs, and earned a PhD. I guess it is all turned out just fine for this “median” kid.
