How did 04 FCV do in playoffs last year? BA did not do well. Would be interesting to see how FCV did against the other teams throughout the country.

Only VA team to qualify for playoffs, but didn’t make it out of the group. the same as BA.

You all realize that FCV has played BA several times in last 12 months. Nothing to speculate about FCV won twice and the tied once. Maryland united would lose handily to both and Arlington.

MD United is a good team but definitely not the best in the area.

Exactly. I also think Baltimore Armour has a very talented 04. She's even better for her age group than the 05 is for hers.

And she played against FCV last year against the same exact FCV roster. She is very talented but FCV is just plain deep with strong players throughout the entire roster at all age groups. That is the major difference vs. the other GDAs.

Regarding FCV's 04's it really does come down to depth over other teams subs.

The DA website has FCV scoring 30 goals over the course of the Fall schedule. I counted 29, but regardless the breakdown of when the goals are scored does shed some light.

FCV scored 9 goals in the first half, 3 of which occurred in the first ten minutes of the game.

In the second half FCV scored 20 goals 8 of which occurred in the last 15 minutes of the game.

This does speak more to the depth of subs but not to the pure dominance of the top 11. All games against all opponents are pretty competitive int he first half with starters versus starters.
