I love it. Blind faith against all observable logic.
I would agree that logic says TSJ won't want to pay for evergreen, but they've bought so many teams and only have one field, so all teams moving there isn't logical either. I would guess they'll build or buy outdoor space. For the girls currently on successful DA teams about to begin or already involved in recruiting, many won't leave FCV because of location, several kids already drive over an hour. The effect will be seen more for younger kids.

Have a niece (U13) who plays for an Eastern Fairfax club. She's looking to make a switch. Family inquired about FCV since they got bought by the St. James and hoping they'd form travel teams there. FCV told her no, staying Loudoun based. So, they went looking for another club.
"Travel teams" will stay in Loudoun for as long as they can but DA is certainly going to move. "FCV United", which is their NPL travel program, is different than TSJFCV.
This is completely wrong!
FCV will stay in Loudoun, all teams.
Why move to Springfield? what players do they plan on recruiting anywhere near?
Are you saying that the Loudoun area is the only with quality players? Plenty of talent in the Springfield/Fairfax/Alexandria area that wouldn't be much of a commute from the TSJ facility. I hope they do bring it. The area needs a place to centralize their best talent instead of spreading it around through various clubs.
So top players would leave existing top teams to go train at a gym and play for a guy who could not make his high school team? Makes sense.

What other teams has TSJ bought?
