I usually try to redirect or just go somewhere else when it happens, but sometimes it can be hard to do without like, turning on the TV or offering some other undesirable distraction.

Why not?! The outdoors are not meant to be quiet. Are you suggesting that kids shouldn't scream or yell (in other words, be loud) either indoors our outdoors?
