I like you, OP. I hate little man, littles, and kiddos. Also mama and papa. Yes I'm judgemental and should not care so much, but I find the terms really grating.

Is the hate for "Mama" focused on mothers who refer to themselves that way in front of other adults and fathers who call their wives that in public? We don't do that -- DH would never call me "Mama" or some version like (gag) "little mama" in front of others or whatever. But Mama is what my teen DC has always called me. I wanted that instead of "mom" or "mommy" because my family has called the mothers "Mama" back at least five generations. But it's what children call their mothers--I do agree that adults who go around calling their spouses mommy or daddy or mama etc. sound ridiculous!

To be clear, I don’t GAF what you call your kids. I just find the public IG posts of your “little mister” to be saccharine. It’s the public display of it all that is gag worthy.

Why so much judgment of moms? I have a friend who regularly refers to her toddler son as an asshole. As long as moms are warm and loving IDGAF what they call them. There’s so much love to go around. Less negativity please.

I called my son “little mister” when he was small. It was all just between my husband and I though. “I already picked up little mister, see you at home.” If that bothers you, then you have too little to stress over.

Haha! I get that. Some boy babies/toddlers do look like grumpy old men, especially if they are dressed for it.
