Thinking of the other side as the devil is how we get into a situation where people think of trump support as an identity instead of a political position that can be discussed.

I’m 100 years old, how’s that? If anything Ellen is using friend like the press talks about the Obamas and Bushes. However, the friendship seems to be more than a few official events and a cough drop.

Good point. Everyone involved should be shunned to one extent or the other. But it starts with the guy at the top, who also made life hell for gays and reintroduced torture.
