I’m also a fed employee and I don’t see how point 1 isn’t a huge issue. You knew she was breaking the law and offered her a place to stay.

Why is she his problem? ICE comes knocking, he plays dumb. They didn't mess with businesses that employed 200 illegals, why would they mess with him. What country is she from? ICE isnt hunting all illegals. Believe me there are plenty of eastern Europeans here past their visas and they hold jobs and no one bothers them.

Don't have her move out unless you can find her a place where someone is looking for a roommate. Is she working? Does she have money to pay rent?

Depending on what type of security clearance you have, you may need to report cohabitation to your Agency's security office. (You would have to with a secret clearance at least, for example.) Start by asking that question.

Your place is much nicer than where the illegal immigrants that can’t sign a standard lease live...trust me. And she likely is aware of this. She is living with you until she finds another friend to take her in or her status changes.

You OWE it to her: get married. After the divorce, you can give her the house. Then you can rest, knowing that you fulfilled your civic and spousal obligations.
