Even as an adult I'd get caught off guard sometimes. Now I have an IUD so it's a non-issue, but white shorts SUCK. Also, you can see underwear through it, which also sucks.
My DS has heavy periods. This is an issue. Fun fact: it happens to ballet dancers on stage more often than you would think.
