Both it is very unlikely that if your kid is on VDA they were close to making Loudoun or FCV. VDA is where everyone goes that didnt make a better team - even a closer team.

Yet the 2006 VDA team is better than both Loudoun’s and FCV

VDA 04’s are better then FCV 04’s and proven to be better then Loudon but FCV 04 refuses to play VDA 04, why?? ?

What did you drink today, because I want some...............that is the most ludicrous thing i have seen on this board in months.

According to what? Not the posted scores. Just because you say it doesn't make it true big guy.

Yawn. Call back when Loudoun and FCV 06 are deep into the national playoffs. I won’t hold my breath

Vda and loudoun have played twice at 2006. Vda won both. Loudoun does not belong on the same field as them. Fcv 06 vs vda 06 is a game I’d like to see though.

This may be why players start to move towards those clubs at 17/18/19

No one knows how the new landscape is going to go. All of those girls played for Mclean/BRYC before the girls DA existed, back when FCV, Mclean, and BRYC were the only Virginia options if a girl wanted to play in college. Past performance is not a guarantee of future performance, and you can only start gauging relative strength in college placement in the new environment with the ‘04s, maybe the ‘03s.

Valid points. Was just offering my opinion on why players may move at older age groups

Anonymous wrote:you guys can correct me if I'm wrong but I think the reason VDA is starting to have success is because they are far from most of the other ECNL and DA teams. They are able to consolidate talent because unless you are willing to drive far away 4 days a week it's your only real option. If you live in Fairfax you have McLean, BRYC, Metro United and even Bethesda, Arlington, Loudoun and FCV aren't too far away depending on where in Fairfax you live. VDA is a serious haul though

They are starting to have success in the younger age groups. The 06 team will presumably stay pretty strong even if they lose a few starters in years to come. Hopefully people will overlook that their older teams are weak (why?)

Why would a team that strong lose starters? To who?

They will leave for McLean bryc soon enough. You’ll see.

That doesn't answer why. If they are on a very strong team why would they leave for a weaker team?

College recruiting - new club v clubs with proven track records of placing players in top universities

Zero college coaches on the VDA sideline at showcases and tournaments. Unless they are watching the VDA opponent.

Yet somehow VDA players are committed to and currently playing in college. Relax chief.

Congratulations to the THREE of them at ODU nonetheless! Wow. No wonder they don't brag on the VDA website - FatA$$

Keeping it classy I see. Nice!

facts: VDA is a ECNL club..

also fact: it’s one of the bottom tier teams.. can we agree on this?

Would you rather be on a bottom team in a good league or play CCL or NPL ( ECNL REGIONAL ) on a good team
