I agree! Also, in some photos her face looks her age but in others its almost like a different person (esp the nude cover).
So many women have fantastic bodies for their age but they all jack up the face with that filler botox crap (thinking the real housewives)
Took me a minute to figure out WHO this looks like but got it- Geena Davis. The mouth, the large teeth, even the eyes. That is not Demi (or I guess it IS now).

I think J Lo looks way better and she isn't photoshopped.

I thought her nude pregnancy cover was so groundbreaking, I really wanted her to take a chance and show graceful aging-softer chin, looser boobs, etc, but it’s just tightened-up spray-tanned I will never age nonsense. Why can’t we appreciate older women like other countries do? Who does sexy always have to mean looking 25 and svelte? Am I being totally catty? And, for the record, it’s not just sour grapes, I’m 40 and still have *most* of my figure after 2 kids, but my body had aged, and I kind of like that, and my dh says he still checks me out, so there’s that. Why Does our media have this rule that women’s bodies won’t age like some weird creepy plastic surgery mummification.
older women are appreciated all the time but not for their sex appeal. why can’t we accept that everything has its time and place.
+1

Anonymous wrote:She is beautiful but even the hair is not real. I wish we had more visibility of actual natural aging instead of unreasonable standards passed on from generation to generation. She would look great without all the “help” I’d expect, but we will never know.
