We saw Dr. L years ago. He was great, but his staff was atrocious, so we left. I always meant up write him to let him know, but figured it wouldn’t get to him.

Yeah I was just going to say- we were there just a week ago and they are not taking any insurance starting the end of this month…

Dr. K is the best! We switched insurance providers and it’s not one of the ones he was taking, but his receptionist was super nice and printed out the filled out forms for me and I sent them off and got reimbursed. Yes, it was at the out of network rate, but it was not a difficult process at all.

Ugh. Just went on his website to confirm. That’s a total bummer. We’ve been going there for 10+ years and didn’t get any notice. Our kids’ next cleaning is in a couple of months. I guess we’ll need to find a new dentist, which sucks because we love Dr. K. 😢


It was on his facebook page if you caught it but they were very low key about it.

Post here who you find, because it is really hard to find a dentist that takes insurance in DC or nearby.

This sucks. We are going to switch dentists. I'm assuming he will get enough private pay business that he doesn't need ours.
