I watch my cousin who plays for Duke now but other than that it doesn’t enthuse me anymore either
Same. From the midwest and it was college football all Sat. (esp. OSU) and football all day Sunday. Then Monday night.
I rarely ever put it on anymore. There are a couple reasons for that. But mainly, it's hard to watch knowing the toll it takes on NFL players' bodies. And while it is their choice as grown men, it was very distasteful learning how the NFL tried to bury that knowledge and their responsibility, when they knew about it. I can understand, at first, but once it was known . . . sports leagues are businesses, I get it. And they all likely suffer from some "business before safety" or lack of ethics. But, that was to an extreme.
And I'll just say it, watching more hockey and it is way, way more exciting than football with their reviews, time outs, clock stops, time between plays.
