Subject: Anyone willing to share their baby shower registry or list of must-haves for new moms?
I would not register for any clothes and try to keep the registry to what is most important. If you do clothes and a lot of “cute” things people will buy these first. Baby showers are notorious for people just buying what they want to buy and not looking at the registry. Art on the Avenue happened the day before my sisters and she got around 10 blankets that were super adorable from a vendor there - but no one needs 10 blankets (that were probably collectively worth $300). After by own baby shower I vowed to myself to never not follow a registry again.

Wow, this thread is super helpful. I am in the same boat.
One question for you mom pros:
If this is my first, but I hope to have another baby in the next couple of years, what type of stroller would you recommend?

The only infant "toys" we've needed for 2 kids in our tiny apartment: infantino play mat w those dangly animals (it folds up so easily and can be moved) and the baby Bjorn bouncer which both kids loved. I love it bc it folds flat. We store it under our couch or on a hook on the wall and move it from room to room.
