OP here. They literally all had on the exact same print yoga pant and same black shirt with print "lets party". All moms and all of their daughters matched. It was just kind of sad to be left out like that. I haven't experienced that in a long time! I know its petty and not a big deal, but it did hurt and i was surprised we are making cliques at age THREE

Like everyone had a matching outfit but you and no one said anything, like "oh we ordered these before you moved here, sorry we didn't have an extra" and you didn't say "why do you have these matching outfits, did we miss a memo?" or anything? The weird part here imo is that this happened and no one said anything?

Wait also how many people were at the party? Were the matching outfits 4/5 kids or 4/25?

I live in an exurb and this nonsense happens all of the time. Matching shirts for someone’s birthday ( with the posts on fb of course )matching shirts for the moms to wear to play day at school. It’s truly ridiculous. Although also matching the kids clothes...I haven’t seen that before.

I’m really hoping one of these idiotic mothers is reading this. Matching “Let’s party” shirts?!?

My oldest is 14 and I’ve never seen such idiocy. And I’ve seen a lot of idiocy...

They sound trashy. Who wears yoga pants to a party?

I'm assuming it's because you're a young mom... Most mom's of 3 year olds are at least 35 around here.

If kids to this, it's an accident. They haven't been taught manners or aren't paying close enough attention to manners. Adults should never do this. Many do, but they shouldn't ever do this.

These kids can split up in elementary. Of the 4, 1 may get left out. It isn’t always peachy.

I do think Op outed herself. Hope she lives far away.

They are 3.

My middle child was super close to a few boys in his class at age 3. They knew each other since being in the same 2s class. Moms got along and often got together for play dates. Now he is 8 and seems to always be with the cool guys. DS is very social and athletic.

My older child also had a good friend in his preschool but it was just the two of them so probably seems less like a clique. This son is quiet and a loner.

My boys in elementary and it is the same. Some kids seem like they were friends for life, go on vacation together, mention plans without inviting you.

I have a 2yo and would feel bad if we were in this situation. I would not take it personally. My daughter is starting preschool this year and I hope she makes friends. If not, we have friends outside of school.

Being a 30yo high earner doesn’t really put you on a map. I was a high earner now SAHM married to a very high earner. The rich wives often stay home.
