Never said he wasn’t. It’s an analogy. There’s not much difference between Ashburn and the midwestern hellholes you mention.

Please keep saying this kind of thing. It lets people know you think exactly like they already believed you did, even as you were pretending to be better.

Yes. And, please keep pushing the "progressive socialism." That's the ticket!! Yes, indeed!

Dem + someone like Amash would crush Trump (beat as in win an election over; not physically crush. It’s 2019 so...)

People mentioned Kamala’s hard left on issues, but didn’t mention her additional hard left on gun control (and I’m pretty sure reparations). She’s going for that spot, whether or not she has always been farther left. LYes, she could go further left and be a Bernie.

Biden Pres/Warren V.P.? Could work. That's about the only combination that will (IMHO).

True. Or get Romney in our side and do Biden/Romney . Get some Republicans to dump Trump.

I hate to tell you this but this isn't a two party system where one is as racist and gross as possible, and the other aspires to be the lite version. Democrats are not going to vote for Romney.

Clean your own house. You hear the chants going on at the Trump rally tonight? He's got his stupid followers chanting "send her back" = guess that's the new "lock her up"

I am a Democrat who would vote for Romney if he switched parties. I want Trump out. If Romney or some moderate R went D or I and joined Dem ticket as VP I would vote. Just no more dogs on the car roof.

Oh Romney/Weld. A winner I think. We can only salivate over the prospect; but it'll never happen I think.

That would be a fine Republican ticket. Neither of those old white male former governors of Massachusetts is a Democrat however.

Kampala is the ideal with an Indian mother and a Jamaican father just as Obama had a white mother and a Kenyan father
She usnit an African American

You folks are so obsessed with identity politics. It is quite breathtaking.
Forget policies, qualifications, or anything else. It's all about gender and ethnicity. Skin color rules!

Alas, that is pretty much the major takeaway of the last 500 years of Western civ where white supremacy and privilege have vied with democratic governance.

Anonymous wrote:Dems come across mostly as representatives of illegal immigrants. That's virtually all they talk about.

Decent housing, food and healthcare, education for illegal immigrants at the border--that's most of the news on NPR most of the day.

DACA is the only issue Pelosi thought it worthwhile to filibuster.

If you point out that illegal means illegal, you're immediately called a racist--ironically, the WaPo had an article today about how a majority of MEXICANS think that Central American migrants should be deported to their home country.

So yeah, we're gonna lose. The debates were just horrific.

--legal immigrant

THIS, exactly.

I think people have amnesia regarding Biden. He’s got an Obama halo but if he has to stand on his own, his negatives will come back to the fore.

So who's better and can win the general?

Mark Sanford?

There's a thought. And Nikki Haley for his Veep.

Correction: PA is not Midwest. Still a hellhole.
