But I had a pretty negative reaction to the lady who was about herself (my immediate reaction was wasn’t able to bond, feed with her body, blah blah blah). Yes, I get it’s a shock, but you’d hope your first thoughts would be about your baby and not your missed opportunity. Hopefully her journey will develop to an understanding that a child’s mother doesn’t have to be the one to birth them to be a good mother.

Plenty of people don't do that, but this other woman risked her health to carry babies that weren't hers, albeit unwittingly. I would hope they are able to realize what a gift in itself that is.
Well I think the woman who gave birth tried to keep the babies. I can't blame her after the emotional roller coaster she went through, but I don't think this was a kumbaya relationship. Maybe one day....

PP makes an interesting point about whether Anni could have carried the fetus to term. So many unknowns here.

SO MANY ERRORS!!! One baby would be bad enough, but two embryos from completely different women?! WTF? Were they using an erasable pen to mark the tubes?!
My heart breaks for the woman who carried those twins. To go through the intense and difficult journey of twin pregnancy only to end up with ZERO babies at the end is just a complete and total horror show.

What about this does not make sense? The clinic erroneously transferred the wrong embryo.
