Everyone can tell everyone apart, no one goes home with the wrong family. They will survive with similar nicknames. I can’t beluebe your SIL changesbthe name she wanted to choose for her own child. You can’t call dibs on a name and you certainly can’t on a freaking nickname. Grow up.

I have a feeling you don’t like your SIL and are looking for a reason to be ticked off. This is not a valid one.

Sorry if "stealing the thunder" put off the wrong message. I just want my son to feel like an individual, these are two boys born the same year, and they will be going to the same schools unless one of us moves.
If you wanted his name to be unique, you should have chosen something less trendy than Jonah.
Jonah isn't common and BIL even said he got the idea fom us first.
LOL, there were three Jonahs in my dd’s kindergarten grade last year, out of a total of 87 kids.
