Gosh, my sons aren't circumcised, but the idea that it is "mutilation" strikes me as uneducated at best (we're not talking about FGM here people) and anti-Semitic at worst. Europeans are known for that too.
Male circumcision is not very different than certain forms of FGM. Educate yourself before you spout off. If you consider all FGM mutilation, then you need to consider male circumcision mutilation as well.

On another note, all the people saying that you want your sons to decide when they are older you have no idea what you are talking about. You are talking about orders of magnitude more pain and healing time and psychological trauma for an adult male vs something newborn will not remember and recover in a few days.

Anonymous wrote:So my 2 sons (5year old twins) are not. We have a third son on the way and we are unsure if we should circumcise him or not. DH (34) is circumcised. We chose not to circumcise our twins when they were born. We figured it would be best to let them decide for themselves later on if they want to be circumcised. We are now up in arm as if we should chose to circumcise our third son. DH wants to but i just don't feel right about it. We know a few friends that didnt circumcise their sons and some that did.
In the end it really come down to our decision but im curious to who chose to circumcise their son(s)?
