If every family/individual who sues someone/some entity is a low class family/individual, then we have very few high class families/individuals in this country. The US will be a different country. We wouldn't have so many scumbag attorneys. Our country is famous for suing somebody/something at the drop of a hat. Give me an f'ing break. If the counselor's suggested list has one or more sure safeties for the "holistic application" of the girl and the family didn't apply to none of those safeties, then it isn't the fault of the counselors. Calling someone "low class family" simply gives away your own level of "true class."
Class is being used to describe behavior here, not wealth and not race. Trump is a perfect example of a rich, privileged person whose behavior is incredibly low class. He is greedy and entitled, like this family is in this suit.
And UVA is not a safety school for anyone--sorry.

This. It’s basically another variant of the “Nigerian prince” scam, this time misusing DC agencies and the courts, and with Sidwell as the target.
With families like the two posters expressing racist feelings, I am glad we aren't at the vaunted school.

I guess the girl’s stats are not good enough to be admitted to Ivies without URM. But the parents believed it’s a sure thing to Ivies or similar level schools. Therefore they sued SFS for ranking students in the same application pool and the race category issue.
