Keep going to library storytimes etc near your house, parks, etc and you'll find friends.
One of them “loved” my
text message but that was it
I have started doing different things to meet mamas so I’m not too worried but I did enjoy
My time with them.
I’m meeting up with another mama Saturday and we’re going for a walk.
Good for you OP. But please stop with the formatting of your posts and a big NO to "mama."
I will just let things happen as they do. I know I will see them again as the social group we are in is doing get together throughout
the summer and on

Something innocuous but that everyone can relate to, like an "I've got a case of the Mondays" type thing. Or maybe a favorite recipe that you can fake that you just made for the family, no one has to know that you actually just heated up leftover spaghetti lol.Let me know if you need any memes.
Okay, this just comes off as desperate and creepy. If someone who lived a half hour away with an infant joined our neighborhood playgroup of toddlers and within hours sent a text, then a few hours later sent more "please, please like me" texts, memes and recipes, I would be blocking the number and ghosting this person.
OP, at a minimum follow the 3 day rule. A week is better, but if you can't hold your panties any longer, then give it at least 3 days.
I guess my friend group is a little more laid back than most. Thank goodness. My friends would love it.

Anonymous wrote:Hey OP, lotta mean people in this thread. I ask this gently: are you feeling like you might have some postpartum anxiety? You do sound kind of keyed up. Take care and ignore the haters.

I thought it went well? We met up at one of their house’s and went for a walk around the neighborhood and then went back to the house to
chat a bit more, let the kids play.
The 3 moms live in the same suburb. I don’t. I live 30 minutes away
but my mom happens to live in the same area so driving is not a big deal
Truth be told my son is the youngest by almost a year. So the other moms have more in common with each other and I’m an outlier
Anyways. I enjoyed myself. I know they did too. Two of the moms live down the street from each other and just figured this out
by coincidence
Anyways, I texted to let them know we (child and i) had fun and I can’t wait to do it again
But it’s been crickets. No reply. ...
I sent the message around 4.
I’d like to get together with them again but I’m not going to push it.
I guess I thought from a practical point if they enjoyed themselves they’d reply back too
I overthink things.
BUT is it odd that they haven’t replied at all?
it’s a group text.
There are tons of classes in all kinds of community centers everywhere in the DC metro area. Just sign for those and
you will meet tons of moms and you will find someone nice to hang out with.
They offer classes for as little kids as "baby and me" classes up to adults, so whatever age your kid is be it 1 or 2 or 5 years old there are all kinds o music, art, story telling, etc. classes for little ones and you can be in the class with the kid
in many cases if the child is very little.
Also check out places like Kidville. It is bit pricier but they have all kinds o fun classes that sound more sophisticated, but they are just the same old fashion fun.
