Thanks to whoever mentioned using an OT to help children with terrible handwriting.

I've now got significantly less money in my HSA, but I also now have a child with significantly better handwriting and stronger muscles.

Thank you to most people in the teens forum who also offer helpful, sympathetic advice.

Teens are hard, and going through teenage problems is lonely.

+1. I’ve gotten support and lots of good information over there.

There’s so many things, it’s hard to remember them all, but a few:

-the “oh crap” book for potty training
-sleep training advice (night wean first like a PP said)
-information on breastfeeding, especially the sibling study where there was zero difference found between siblings where one baby was breastfed and the other wasn’t
-there was a link I got on this page that will calculate miscarriage risk based on what day you are in early pregnancy. It shows how small the rate is once you hit 8 weeks and have seen the heartbeat. This Gave me so much comfort in early days of pregnancy

Thank you to the poster who encouraged me to make a plan, be confident, keep my head down in the meantime, and go after the job and pay I thought I should be earning. Over a year ago I was stuck in a really politically complicated work environment. I had been recognized repeatedly for stellar work performance by my managers but pay-wise I was not getting ahead. I'd get more complex, high profile projects with significant discretionary decision-making authority and succeed, only to be rewarded by more work with no additional pay or even title recognition. Meanwhile folks that had been at the job for over a decade spent their days reading novels in their offices or watching sports on their computers. Many posters encouraged me to think of this as paying my dues because I was mid-career and in my mid-30s. The poster that told me to believe in my worth and go after it was right. I did and have doubled my salary, am at a place where I am respected and have a much more enjoyable set of colleagues.

Just made this tonight. I made 3 servings one weekend. Ate one that week and froze 2. Don’t put the veggies in, just marinate the chicken. I also use bottled lemon juice in a pinch. Right before cooking I add some combo of onions and peppers (2 and 2 or 3 of one and 1 of the other) to the bag of marinated chicken. Then dump on pan.
Make the white sauce mentioned at the bottom. I serve with pita or naan and sliced cucumbers.
