Look at the first paragraph of the ABGC letter. They think they OWN you. You are their property. You don’t have the freedom to leave them and join another club. They assume people are dumb and don’t realize they have freedom.

Do you think anyone in their right mind stays with a club like ABGC given what they just did and their “track record”? So, yes, the people at VIVA just carry on doing what they’ve always done ... run a successful travel club that treats people with respect.

I figured most everyone would stay with VillaReal VIVA. But I'm wondering how good they will be going forward by themselves? Do you think in 3 to 5 years they will be a strong program?

Yes! Anyone with an IQ over 60 would leave ABGC and pick VIVA (or anything else).

So when you say desperation and players/coaches leaving program - do you mean players/coaches leaving AGBC and staying with VillaReal VIVA?

[May 20, 2019] Annandale Boys & Girls Club (ABGC) was shocked to discover that, without any
notice to ABGC, now former representatives of ABGC Bo Amato and Carlos Aranda in association
with Villareal Virginia Academy (VIVA) formed a separate entity and are now attempting to divert
current ABGC players to a new club.
The ABGC Board of Directors voted in an emergency session tonight to retain a law firm to file a
lawsuit against Bo Amato, Carlos Aranda, and Villareal Virginia Academy (VIVA) to enjoin them from
further diverting ABGC players and resources.
ABGC Travel and Recreation soccer programs will continue under the leadership of Steve Lee and
Trevor Parker, Technical Directors. ABGC is grateful for the efforts of Steve and Trevor as they
continue running the travel soccer tryouts for next fall.
ABGC will continue to move forward with the coaches, managers, staff, and resources that have been
the standard of excellence at ABGC for over 60 years.
For any families that have paid VIVA for the fall season, rest assured that ABGC will honor that
payment and take all necessary steps to have the money credited to AGBC. We will continue to keep
you informed as this process moves forward

So my child was considering playing with the younger program U9-12 for this upcoming year. It seems like the players and coaches are staying with Villareal, but just wondering if they can survive as a standalone program? I doubt most of the players/coaches will stay with AGBC. can anyone with inside information provide some guidance on if moving forward with VillaReal VIVA is the right move, as we do like the coaches of the younger ages that are staying with VillaReal.

Will the teams be part of Annandale or part of Villarreal?
