Depends on the program. McIntire, which my child is in, is $40K/year all-in.

I don't think so. I have a third year there who absolutely loves it. There was a big cheating scandal at Harvard a few years back - are you thinking of that?

I am a NP. Geez, talk about defensive. 2019 cost for Arts & Sci is $33k. Whether $7k is "a lot less" really depends on (I guess) how much money you make. It's not that much to me but I guess to you it is.


7 grand a year over four years adds up. I’m worth over $5 million btw

Yes. Rankings are one of many important things. Fit is, too.

All four of those schools offer something special the others don't. Pick the one that has the special thing you want.

And smaller classes. That is something you buy at a private university. For many people, that is the difference between thriving and being ordinary.
