Queen's University in Charlotte. Smaller than what you're looking for, but maybe worth considering.

She wouldn't get into any of them with a 1300. Most are 10% of lower acceptance rates.
Um, Pitzer College is test-optional. And there are lots of 1300 kids at others.
My DC was waitlisted with a 32 ACT and good grades. It may be the softest of the Claremonts but it's still very popular, so nothing's a lock.

Look at the videos on the school's admissions page. Seems like a complete joke. The school is going out of its way to say that it is a place to hang out with friends and play in the water. Seems like a waste of money and time.

DS got in last year with an 1130. I agree not that hard. Still basically a big party school. We said no. He's at northeastern and loves it.

Um, pretty much every second kid at Tulane is from a UMC area of NY/NJ/CT/PA/MD/NoVA/MA. Being from the northeast/Mid atlantic is not an advantage at Tulane, lol.
