No she is not a good coach. Yells, be littles players, undermines confidence, ices out players(ie will not talk to them at practice), gives conflicting instructions in the same yelling fit, no communication with parents, stifles creativity, girls play to avoid mistakes, risk taking is punished, fosters a mean girl environment, kills a lot of girls love for the game, girls never smile, etc. This is for u9-u11 girls. This does appeal to some parents. Her teams play better when there is a guest coach. I know a lot of players and parents are happy she is moving on.
Wow. I had no idea she was like this. I’m sure parents that tolerate this behavior cause they are one of the higher ranked teams in MoCo.
This coach’s type of behavior would surely shut my daughter down.

LOL. So he, in essence, took BSC’s 2007 second team (White) to Potomac and made it the first team (Blue).
No this was another one with multiple coaches and girls leaving Potomac and joining BSC. it was a few years ago. Think it was the 2001 and 2000 age group.

Bringing in a new coach for one of two teams is a good shake up especially at the 05 level. That team was never as strong as Rush 05 and bringing the Rush players over might help the club build a truly elite team that can one day take the ECNL national title.
