I"ve become acutely aware recently about the "gossip" one and whether a story or anecdote I am preparing to tell could be considered "gossip". I also recently have become aware about when what I'm being told is "gossip" and gently avoid listening. I realize now that the 3rd hand story about why my cousin in a state down south supposedly got divorced was gossip, had no bearing on my life why I would need to know details, and was none of my business. And it came from my mom. Sigh.

People who are well-adjusted have decent romantic relationships, decent relationships with their children - especially adult children, decent relationships with their family members, friends, coworkers, bosses, etc. Nothing is perfect, of course, and there’s always going to be some trouble. But when you have a person who’s ALWAYS getting in fights with their SO and then making up 2 days later like nothing happened then another blowout fight then back to normal - and it’s like that with their kids/boss/family/friends too - it’s their problem.
