You have no idea what either marriage is like. Kate and Will are lovely because they have spent their lives together, whereas Charles and Camilla had those terrible years of adultery and destruction of their first families. Charles and Camilla clearly have a very strong connection. They both were willing to harm a lot of people and hurt themselves in the public eye to be together. I do not think this is admirable. Kate and Will’s relationship is much more blah. He kind of looked around and saw she was the last woman standing (still, for years). I don’t think he thinks she is interesting or has/had a strong connection with her, but she is appropriate and a good mother and wife.

You're describing the relationship of many middle aged couples. They had an attraction, she was around at the time he wanted to settle down. Passion fades (particularly when you add 3 kids to the equation), and is replaced with a more mature love.

I don’t think there was much of an attraction on his part ever.

Yes, that's clearly why they dated for 9 years when he could have gone off with anyone.
