It seems like roster sizes are quite large (around 30) and that there is a player pool rather than a set ECNL 1 team. In reality, are all of the players in the pool given an opportunity to be rostered for ECNL games or is it the same 16-18 girls each week who actually end up playing? I understand they are considering adding an ECNL 2 team next year as well for regional play.
This player pool model is in place with the current BRYC U13s. The BRYC U14s are a single team with 17 players who play in ECNL.
Okay, but the PP was also asking if all 30 players in the pool are given the opportunity to play ECNL? Are all 30 players dual rostered in ECNL and whatever the other league they play in? When are rosters/schedules firmed up?

Last minute practice changes, team roster shuffles without announcements (even after parents had left for the field), travel requirements to games with less than 24 hours notice (even those requiring kids to miss a school day).
How would you rate your club? Our kids are at Bethesda and it's been quite a nightmare held together only by a very very dedicated parent manager who really goes the extra effort to keep things on an even keel. Was wondering how your team is doing with things like schedules, practice changes, communication etc.

At this meeting where they laid out plans for next year - did they say what they plan to do with the younger age groups? Thinking of moving DD (current U10) over but am wondering if they plan to enter them in NCSL or another league? I heard the U12 group is playing NCSL this season and wonder if they plan to do it with other age groups next year. Also wondering if they have hired additional coaches? One coach for 8 teams seems like a bad idea no matter how great he is at developing players.

it hurts that our daughters are happy and doing well at BRYC doesn't it?
