I can't speak to that age group, so I don't know. I can understand your frustration at having young players on the team. No matter how good they may or may not be, they should play in their own age group and probably will next year if enough 06s can be found.
i do know no team has struggled more than that one. It gets routinely pummeled every game.
What I do know is Spirit has had players verbally commit and then back out. I also can't totally blame Spirit for all of its talent issues. It has been guilty of picking up too many players in some age groups and guilty of not playing some players correctly. Those are controllables. And the coaching and style of practices are controllables. As for your 2006 player, all I can say is if you know of good 2006s, the talent pool is only as good as the players. So encourage them to take a look at Spirit.
Yes, it must be tough for a 2006 team to compete with the best 2006 teams when so filled with smaller 2007 and a 2008 player. Not surprised that they are having a difficult time, as would any team with so many play ups.

As an FYI, the pilot DA groups don’t pay anywhere near $10k. More like $4k with minimal travel, very close to other u13 elite area options and one noteable rec+ option in Loudoun

However, since the Oracle is here to keep us all on track, by what basis do you say either of those statements aren't true? Is he not into futsal? Has he not been with Spirit long before DA? Or are you just being derogatory because you think Spirit is easy prey?
Being optimistic in life is a good thing. However, being optimistic with your time and money on an underperforming stock may lead to severe frustration. Starting to feel like WS VA DA is a pump and dump stock.
They're running the Academy like its Super Y.

George has done an excellent job of stepping up to the plate. He responds very quickly to anything I send. Tom has disappeared; that's fine. George has been with Spirit for a while and is a highly technical coach.
If you are having communication issues, try George. He's been running things this spring for the most part anyways.

Yep, even before the Academy he handled the Super Y work. And he is a solid futsal coach as well, Futsal is a highly technical game, so non-technical coaches and non-technical players tend to struggle more than they might outside.
