It was also peak cherry blossom day. Intersections were really crowded with throngs of people moving through the intersection. What's up with that? It was crazy crowded and so frustrating trying to get around the monument.


+1. We were there from 9:30 to 1:30. My 3 year old made a kite and had a BLAST flying it and playing in the bubble tent. Then we walked down to the blossoms and by the time we got back it was insanely crowded and took forever to get on the metro. Next year we'll try to get there even earlier.
