After the Louisiana and Mississippi races, Soros next piled money into two of the biggest jurisdictions in the country: Houston’s Harris County (his lone losing effort so far) and Chicago’s Cook County, where he funded one of several groups that helped Kim Foxx defeat incumbent state’s attorney Anita Alvarez in a high-profile primary campaign dominated by the 13-month delay between the police shooting of Laquan McDonald and the indictment of the police officer involved.
conspiracy theory - that he's behind the Smollett deal
Foxx is friends with Smollett's fam.
... but she recused herself.
Lol. It’s chicago. Most corrupt dump in the US

which is WEIRD! If he claimed he was so innocent, why the need to seal the case?
You'd think he'd want everyone to know of his "innocence."
He's a lying fool who got his way, and everyone - except for the morons - knows it.

Of course, the network is backtracking now & "exploring their options."
This is their way of saying "uhhh, we F'ed up royally & jumped the gun, so if we let you come back to the network in some capacity with a pay raise, will you PLEASE not sue us??"
This was all because Terrence Howard had a diva moment & wanted Jussie fired right now yesterday, absolutely immediately!
As the star of the show, he put major pressure on Lee Daniels, Danny Strong, Francie Calfo & all of the FOX execs that if they didn't fire Jussie that Terrence would walk & the fans would walk away with him. Empire's numbers have dropped way down from Season one from 25M viewers per show, to less than 5M now (and that's prior to this whole mess). They got scared & caved to his demands.
The quote below is by far the most entertaining part about their F up.
"Shortly after he was charged and released on bond, the network issued a statement that they were "exploring their options."

Because when police gather information much of this information is not related to the case but something you don't want to come out.
Usually, it's who you are banging... you don't want your wife knowing everything the police found out.. in this case it was something like that.... something bad for his reputation.

That doesn't make sense. What would Smollet know about Nike or any other of his lawyer's clients?
