She is too old to be worn. Every time we try to put her down early, it backfires on us.
She does fall asleep in the car. Think she will have a car nap that day.
How old is she? My friend wears her smaller 3 year old on a regular basis,
I think this poster meant wear out as in exhaust, like run around the playground all morning and do an early nap.

Op here. My child has never missed a nap in her life. She has been consistently napping in afternoon since she was 18m. She just turned 2. She will be 26 months old at time of birthday party.
Wow. I cannot imagine a lifestyle where my child never missed a nap. At 2, she more often than not takes a 2-3 hour nap in her crib but sometimes she falls asleep while we are out and it becomes a short car/stroller nap instead. Then there is also travel, doctors appts and family events that have gotten in the way here and there too. Her nap time has also changed quite a few times in the last 2 years so on more than one occasion I agreed to something that should have been before or after nap time and in the days/weeks between agreeing to a time and the actual event her nap time shifted right to the time of whatever I agreed to do. So nap got punted to earlier, later or skipped altogether. I’m shocked you’ve made it this far without missing a nap but if this is a party I wanted to attend I’d attempt to put my dd down a bit early and then wake her to go.
