We knew we wanted 2 as close together as possible, if we had waited I don’t think I would have ever been “ready”. Got pregnant when DS1 was 6MO and miscarried then got pregnant again and they’re 19 months apart. But I joke had DS2 been born first he definitely would have been an only. It was much harder 2nd time around and DS2 was not an easy baby/toddler. They’re 2.5YO and 4YO now and it’s fun, but hard!

Hormones. And remember, 2nd time around you'll have an older child needing your energy, attention and affection too. So it won't be the same. Enjoy what you have for now.
