NP here. I have never ever let my kids drive in the car with anyone but DH and I. My kids are 19 and 17 now. I’m glad I didn’t. There was no need.

So in 19 years, your kids have never been in a carpool, gotten a ride home from school or practice from someone else, gone out with their friends after everyone got their drivers’ licenses... nothing? Ever? And you think not letting them do any of that is a good thing? Wow.
