Yeesh, another battle of the sexes.

The problem is the early to mid 40s is the least likely age for men to be single. They are rarely never married but not quite the age when the divorces start happening when the kids are in middle and high school. And the few men I know mid 40s never married are looking mid 30s because they are interested in starting families.

So I say date younger for fun and the men will be there as you age.

Not maintaining themselves is the reason DH can’t perform. With younger/hotter/tighter he’d rise to the occasion.

OK then, get yourself to any one of the usual suspect, high end bars in downtown DC at happy hour (e.g., Capitol Grill, Jefferson Hotel, etc.). These places are full of overeducated, over paid men in the age range you're looking for. They normally outnumber women ten to one, or so it appears to me.

If you're reasonable attractive, you walk in the door and you drop your silk scarf on the floor. Trust me on this...

Speak for yourself! My DH is above the range OP is interested in and his performance has not declined based on his performance last night which was amazing and wore me out. Admittedly he might not be able to do that every night but once or twice a week is fine with me.
