I am still haunted by that book. Just seeing the title makes me tear up. Why is life so unjust?


I listened to the audiobook on my long commute. I’m just glad I finished the book on the way home and not at the office.

Yes! So heart wrenching. I have no idea how one could move on. I read it a couple of years ago and still think about it.

Another sad book, but pure fiction, is Did You Ever Have a Family.

Me too! I saw the subject line and was going to write the same book. I loved loved this story, as sad and difficult as it was.
