My kids all have different school drop offs.

My oldest, a girl, is always on time. She has her act together and can make her own snack, gets her backpack packed the day before, does her own hair.

My other two are boys. They are thereotically capable of doing all of the above (they aren't babies!), but they don't have the initiative too. We tend to be on the later side of their school drop offs. Someone is always bickering with the other, lost a shoe, can't find his water bottle, got glue in his hair, would rather play with the dog than get moving.

I have met a few moms with girls whose girls are better dressed with hair done with accessories. These new mom friends are so unpunctual, like over an hour unpunctual. I can’t help but think if you didn’t do your THREE daughters’ hair and your own, you could have been on time.

Then again, my hair is usually in a high ponytail and I wear mostly athleisure. I get ready in 5 minutes.

Wow, you’re just not a nice person, at all. And I’m always on time with my long-haired girl.

Well according to our preschool director, one of my son's teachers was running late one day because she has 4 kids to get out the door. This information was volunteered, I didn't even say anything about the missing teacher. However, I just have one and am very punctual so it rubbed me the wrong way; it came off like I wouldn't understand since I only have one kid.

Me too! I've always been late and then had boys, which did not change me.
