It was a trampoline park per the OP, not a bounce house. Plenty of adults jumping at trampoline parks.
I love to jump at trampoline places! I have no hang ups about having a good time and having fun.
On to the main question: I think Pizza (and cake) are enough, as long as there is plenty of pizza. Also, as kids get older they eat more-- much more! So sometimes I think people don't realize how much more the kids are eating this year vs. last year and under order. Not a big deal. I will never eat until all the kids are stuffed.
Your child is invited to a trampoline birthday party and you waltz in there and start jumping???

Well, are you crashing an elementary age kids party? Do you pay for yourself separately?
Anonymous wrote:But how will OP post "fun mom" photos on instagram if she just politely supervises her child, the invited guest, from the sidelines?

Anonymous wrote:Wow, I would be pissed if I held a party at a trampoline place and adults insisted on jumping. That would double the cost. I only expect to pay for children participating in a children's birthday party, not providing fun and entertainment for the whole family.

No, many were jumping. The kids were little.
Why won't you answer the questions about why your son was still hungry?
I meant he was starving going into the party room. It was lunch time and he had been bouncing for an hour. They only offered pizza. About 2 slices per person.
I just meant that AT lunchtime AFTER bouncing, just pizza isn't sufficient.
This thread disagrees. But tomorrow, someone will bash an OP for saying she'll only serve pizza.
You never know how the wind will blow on DCUM...
