The Pilot was too small for my tall children. The back row of the Mercedes was too hard to get down. Sequoia has it all (except good gas mileage) and is easier to drive and park than a Suburban.
Sequoia is awesome - and huge.
Just do not buy a new one - literally it is the same car from 2008 with minor mods. You can get a 2 year old one for a good deal.
In the US no one is buying them now - but they are really popular in other markets.
Ours is a 2004 and indestructible-I would get a new one but would go for something with higher tech and more modern.
Plus - mine has a tape deck and kids have no idea what that is - they think it is a Pokémon card holder.

There are other features but the power memory seat position is key for us. The Limited seems to have more immediate availability in captains' chairs for the middle, but you can get the bench seating so you can carry 6 in the middle and rear rows.
I had a Hylander before having kids and I loved it! I am thinking about going back to it. The new model almost looks like a station wagon though?

Another Siana owner. It has over 100,000 miles on it. It is my second sienna. I never thought I would love a minivan, but I do love my Sienna. My husband loves it as well. I can fit so much stuff in the Sienna. It is great for carpools. He uses it for going to Home Depot and Lowe’s because it fits more than his SUVs have (enclave, then Lexus but can’t remember the number).
That said, after a dozen years I am looking for an SUV. I think I’m burned out on my minivan. But I’ve been saying that for over a year now and keep driving my Sienna. It’s paid off, still in great shape with no issues after 100,000 miles.

Chevy and Buick also has versions of the Acadia. They are all similar. Very popular Mom SUV in the nicer parts of town.
Not in the DC suburbs they aren’t. American cars are junk.
Not sure where you live but if you drive 30 minutes around Arlington/McLean/Great Falls, you will lose count at the number of Suburbans, Tahoes and Escalades you see. Your comment is insane
